Cherished husband of Rosalie, father of Hugh, Claire and Adrian, grandfather of George, Rory and Neve, brother of Elaine, father-in-law of Cindy and Catherine.

Dedicated doctor, committed conservationist, avid runner, intrepid ocean sailor, generous mentor, incurable builder of sheds - a true renaissance man.

John lived a life of remarkable impact, quiet achievement and unforgettable adventure. He will be greatly missed by family, friends, colleagues and patients alike.
