Now in their 24th year, the awards celebrate excellence and innovation across a diverse range of industries.
Businesses operating within the Campaspe Shire and Murray River Council areas are eligible to apply, with 16 categories on offer in 2026.
Campaspe Shire Mayor Daniel Mackrell said the awards continued to highlight the strength and diversity of the local business community.
“These awards are an opportunity to shine a light on the incredible businesses that drive our local economy, from long-standing enterprises that have supported our communities for generations, to new and emerging businesses making their mark,’’ he said.

Three new categories have been added for the 2026 event — the sustainability award, community-minded award and apprentice of the year — expanding the way you can recognise businesses and individuals.
Businesses operating within the Campaspe Shire and Murray River Council areas are eligible to apply, with 16 award categories to nominate for.
Applications close June 28.
Murray River Council Mayor John Harvie said the popular Nichol Trading People’s Choice Award would also return, giving the community a chance to get involved.
“The People’s Choice Award allows the public to vote for their favourite finalist business, providing another way to recognise those who go above and beyond,’’ he said.
Voting for the People’s Choice Award will open from July 31.
Winners will be announced at the gala celebration dinner on October 21 where the prestigious Business of the Year Award will also be presented to one of the category award winners.
