Chief executives and board chairs from the 13 member organisations of the Loddon Mallee Local Health Services Network came together for a joint governance committees and chief executive meeting.
The gathering was a chance for regional health leaders to collaborate on shared priorities, discuss future planning and strengthen partnerships that support the delivery of quality healthcare services across the region.

A key focus of the day was the development of initiatives under the Victorian Department of Health's Statement of Expectations framework.
While all health services work towards a number of common statewide objectives, the network is also exploring several local initiatives designed to address the unique needs and challenges facing communities across the Loddon Mallee region.
Discussions included budget planning to support these activities and ensure resources are directed towards initiatives that deliver meaningful outcomes for regional communities.
The meeting also featured a risk management workshop, where participants worked collaboratively to determine the network's collective risk appetite and identify key strategic and operational risks that may impact regional healthcare delivery.
A highlight of the day was a virtual address from Victorian Health Infrastructure Minister Harriet Shing, who provided an update on government priorities and acknowledged the important role regional health partnerships play in delivering healthcare services closer to home.
LMLHSN brings together 13 health services from across the region, creating opportunities to share expertise, co-ordinate initiatives and address common challenges.
