A total of 76 businesses and individuals that have made significant contributions to the region’s economy and communities have been named across 16 categories.
Campaspe Shire Deputy Mayor Tony Marwood said those named as finalists demonstrated resilience and innovation across a diverse range of industries.
“The quality of this year’s finalists highlights the strength and diversity of our business community,” Cr Marwood said.
“(These) businesses of all sizes continue to deliver exceptional products, services and experiences while supporting local jobs and economic growth.”
Voting is now open for the People’s Choice category, with voting now open to the public until 11.45pm, on Friday, September 18.
Murray River Council Mayor John Harvie said the award was an opportunity for the community members to highlight business whose excellence deserved recognition.
“We encourage everyone to support their favourite business by casting a vote,” Cr Harvie said.
“It’s a great way to celebrate the businesses that help make our region such a vibrant place to live, work and visit. ”
Winners across all award categories, including the People's Choice Award and the Campaspe Shire Council and Murray River Council Business of the Year Award, will be announced at the gala presentation dinner on October 21, 2026.
