Finley breeder Phillip Murrowood has enjoyed a standout season on the show circuit, with his Lakeside Park White Suffolk stud earning major accolades at both the Dubbo Show and Bendigo Sheep and Wool Show.

At Dubbo, his ram was awarded Reserve Champion Ram, setting the tone for what would become an exceptional run of results.
At Bendigo last weekend, he went one better.
He claimed Champion White Suffolk Senior Ram before taking out the Grand Champion White Suffolk Ram.
Mr Murrowood said the winning ram, now at 14 months, is “a well structured ram with smooth shoulders, and good hindquarters”.
The Lakeside Park stud started in 2017, with Mr Murrowood noting that the champion ram’s sire has been a key influence.
“I’ve used his sire a lot. Being a small operation; having his genes in our flock has been a benefit”.
The next show for the Murrowoods’ champion ram will most likely be his last, with a plan to sell him at the Elite Show and Sale in Bendigo on September 11-13.
