It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Salim (Sam) Michael Bashir. Much loved husband of Marilyn, father to Kristen, Gaby and Michaela. Father-in-law to Andy and Greg. Beloved grandfather to Kal, Jem, Ruby, Jessica and Charlie. He passed peacefully in the early hours of Tuesday, 27 August 2024.
Family and friends are warmly invited to attend Sam’s funeral at St George Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral at 10am on Friday, 30 August 2024 located on the corner of Walker & Cooper Streets, Redfern. The eulogy and mercy meal will follow in the Cathedral Hall after the service
