A message of thanks

Wynndean has never been just a place; it has been a story written by family, friends, guests, and a community who supported us in what it stood for. This tribute was Dad’s final wish- a simple and heartfelt thank you to everyone who became part of that story.

To those who stood beside us, fought for our business and believed in what Wynndean represented, Dad wanted to offer his personal thanks. A message of gratitude to the people who made it possible.

John held a deep reverence for Wynndean's history and never forgot those who helped build the Park. From the New Australians who shared in its post-war foundations, to the generations of families who returned year after year-some for over fifty years, you were never simply guests. You became part of an enduring community whose loyalty helped shape Wynndean’s future.
This gratitude extends to the many associations and individuals within the broader community; including tourism, industry and service organisations. Built on integrity, strengthened by community, guided by care and service, Wynndean has become far more than a family business.

As his family, we take strength in continuing the business he loved. Dad instilled in us the same passion and commitment of providing a service to the people and community. We are proud to continue this into a fourth generation.

Thank you for being part of John's story, our family's story and the enduring legacy of Wynndean.

Janice, David, Rachel, Sarah and families.
