Teenage Rochester netball star Teal Hocking returned from her Victorian Netball League grand final last week with two titles.
The Rochester Secondary College Year 12 student was best-on-court in City West Falcons’ under-19 premiership win against Southern Saints.
Hocking’s team won the match 62-47, making it dual titles for the club as it also took the championship pennant with a two-goal win against Geelong Cougars.
Hocking, who is a goaler with Rochester’s A-grade team in the Goulburn Valley competition, was playing with Tatura’s Elsie Boyer and Shepparton United’s Sophie Garner in the team.
Shepparton A-grader and Wellman medallist Jacinta Todd was part of the Falcons’ coaching panel this year, while Shepparton United star Zoe Davies was best-on-court in the Falcons’ championship win.
