All but the C-grade netball side have made finals, along with the thirds and fourths footy sides.
In A-grade netball, the side finished fifth.
Coached by Alana Tyndall, the team also has the reigning league best and fairest winner Rhiannon ‘Spot’ Maxwell.
They play an elimination final this Saturday at home against Picola United from 1.30pm.
The B-grade side have finished in third, giving them the week off before playing the Deni Rovers in the second qualifying final, next Sunday, August 23 at Strathmerton from 11.50am.
C-reserve have finished in sixth and play an elimination final against Tungamah this Sunday from 11.50am at Rennie.
In the junior netball, the under-17s have placed seventh, while both the under-15s and under-13s have claimed third position.
The two most junior netball sides both play qualifying finals against the Deni Rovers at Strathmerton next Sunday.
The under-15s play from 9.15am, followed by the under-13s from 10.25am.
The under-17s will play against Mathoura in their elimination final at Rennie this Sunday from 10.25am.
In the football, the seventh placed Tocumwal thirds will play an elimination final against Tungamah at Rennie, at 10.25am.
Finishing fourth, the fourths will play their qualifying final against Barooga at Katunga next Saturday from 9.15am.
A-grade player profiles are as follows:
Rhiannon ‘Spot’ Maxwell - The reigning best player in the league, Spot is effortless and amazing. She is talented, experienced and knowledgeable and is the master and mentor for our attacking end. She’s simply the best.
Keeley Coates - Her moves on the court are equally as slick as her perfect slick back bun every week. Reliable, encouraging, determined and the second highest goal scorer on the team.
Renee Phelan - Like a gentle feather and the most versatile player on the court. Arms for days and the ability to slot into any position we need her. She floats around the court looking innocent before somehow getting the intercept. And, she never forgets the lollies.
Claire Doyle (Captain) - Classic full back. A reliable GK who has an unreal read on the play allowing her to intercept and deflect from anywhere and she’s easily going to rebound every miss. She also knows exactly how far away three feet is.
Alana Sutton (Vice Captain) - The quickest on the court and her brain is running as quick as her legs. She’s everywhere, all the time, driving, defending, feeding, asking questions and always wanting to learn and improve.
Alana Tyndall (Playing coach) - Slow and old. But will try her best. Never draws breath and only a slight case of white line fever.
Ella Baldwin - She’s quiet, but her drives are sharp and her feed is precise. You won’t hear a word from her but suddenly she’s driven deep to the circles edge and popped in the most perfect pass to the goalers.
Chelsea Kirchen - The workhorse of the team. Running out full games in centre like it’s nothing. She’s unassuming, smart, and loves a sneaky tip and gain.
Lizze Tasker (Team Manager) - The busiest person on earth somehow still finds the time to do rosters, wash bibs and make changes on the bench.
