Rochy battled in a third home game in a row against quality opposition and pushed the Bulldogs to their limits for three quarters before a late run saw Tat get up 54-40.

Tatura was out to a 13-9 advantage, but Rochester finished the period strong to trail by two at the opening break.
The Tigers briefly got to the front in the second, but the Bulldogs kept things tight, and it remained neck and neck at the main break, the visitors slightly ahead 27-24.
Tatura threatened to break away, reeling off three straight coming out of the break, but Rochester again responded and at three-quarter time the game remained anyone’s to claim with the margin four goals.
Rochy hung around for the first five minutes of the final term, but Tatura would surge clear in the final 10, finishing on an 11-2 run to pick up the 54-40 win.
Tia Webb was a consistent force around the ring for Rochester, sinking 25 of her side’s 40 goals.
The Tigers sit in ninth place with a 1-3 record and are heading into a clash with the reigning premier Shepparton on Saturday.
For the fourth week in a row Rochester will be at home, the clash taking place at Rochester Recreation Reserve.
