Across two state competitions, Revival Aerobics Studio proved itself to be a powerhouse of the sport, taking home dozens of medals and tickets to the nationals stage.
On May 23 and 24, Revival journeyed to Melbourne’s east to participate in the SchoolAerobics State Finals in Rowville, and swept the stage of its awards.
All three Revival cheer teams - primary squad ‘It’s Time’, secondary team ‘Trouble’ and Oldskool group ‘Supernova’ - placed first to qualify for August’s National Championships on the Sunshine Coast.
Soloists Scarlett Pearce and Alex Liacos also took home gold in their respective categories, while pairing ‘Vengagirls’ nabbed silver.
Following the competition, Revival recorded 18 gold medals, 11 silver and seven bronze, booking 36 entries to the Queensland-based nationals competition.

Revival at the FISAF State Championships.
At the FISAF state championships held on June 6 and 7, last year’s international champion in the Czech Republic Brodie Kelly continued his journey to repeat his 2025 efforts with a gold in the Youth International Individual section, while also winning the International Youth Pairs category with Molly Stevens in a ballroom-inspired routine.
Co-owners of Revival Sean Reynolds and Daniel Johnson also competed in the International Masters Individual and Pairs categories, taking home the gold (duo) and gold (Reynolds) and silver (Johnson) in the individual section.
The group collated eight entries to the FISAF nationals on the Gold Coast in September.
Across the two state comps, over 45 medals were brought back to Shepparton, with the studio’s co-owners lauding the hard work that banked such successful results.
“We live and breathe this sport, so it’s great to see our athletes fall in love with it and for it to continue to grow,” Reynolds said.
“We are so proud of all our athletes and all their hard work and dedication - most athletes often training 3-4 classes a week.”
International athletes will compete at the FISAF National Championships in Gold Coast early September, in hope to qualify for the 2026 Australian Team and represent Australia at the World Championships in New Zealand in November this year.
