The Timbercutters host Dookie United at Mathoura Recreation Reserve on Saturday in round six of Picola League action.
It provides the Cutters a chance to show their improvement once again this weekend.
The Mathoura under-17s footballers had a 70-point win over Picola United on Anzac Day, as well as a one point loss in the reserves.
The junior netball teams have been leading the way with three consecutive wins over the last three weeks, while the C-Reserve netballers had a one goal win over Berrigan.
In the senior football last week Mathoura proved no match for ladder leaders Waaia, going down by 133 points.
Kai Shiels slotted two of Mathoura’s majors, while Jake Rawe finished off the Cutters’ other goal.
Dookie United has had two wins and two losses so far this season.
Meanwhile, Mathoura’s A-grade netballers were well beaten at both ends of the court last week, going down 50 to 15 against Waaia.
Their Dookie opponents this season have three wins and one loss to date.
