The Mathoura Timbercutters have one more stern test this week against Strathmerton in round 11 of the Picola league.
The Cutters will be on the road to the Strathmerton Recreation Reserve tomorrow.
They have the better ladder position in each of the junior netball grades, but face stronger Strathmerton teams in the senior netball and each football grade.
In the senior football, it is the third consecutive week the Cutters are facing a top four team.
Strathy have won three in a row in the top grade, including against Katunga by 77 points two rounds ago and Rennie by 76 points last week.
Next week the Cutters host Katunga who are also yet to win a game in the senior football or A-grade netball, in what looms as a competitive round before the league wide bye in two weeks.
Adding some excitement for this week in the club’s Yellowstone themed ball, which will be held at the Mathoura Recreation Reserve tomorrow night from 7pm.
Tickets for the event are available via the club’s Facebook page.
