Mathoura have had several wins in the junior netball, but will be out to add to their tallies in the football and senior netball.
Last weekend, the Cutters hosted Dookie United.
The visitors won the senior footy by 107 points, with Jordy Priestley kicking two of Mathoura’s three goals, while Jake Rawe chipped in the third.
The Cutters face another strong club in Tungamah this Saturday.
The Bears are the reigning premiers in the reserves, and have a top six team in every football and netball grade outside of senior football.
Even in the senior competition, Tungamah will be a difficult side to negotiate.
The Bears lost their first three senior football matches this season to Katamatite, Katandra and Strathmerton but have since beaten Katunga by 222 points and Rennie by 83 points last week.
Regardless, the Cutters will be keen to get some positive results ahead of the league bye next week.
