The Australian Rural Leadership Foundation held a two day change-maker’s workshop last week on Thursday, March 6, and Friday, March 7.
Over the two days, a group of Rochester residents gathered to work on approaches to creating positive change within their communities.
The group built new networks, carried out activities in groups and discussed important issues.
The project is part of the Future Drought Fund’s ‘Helping Regional Communities Prepare for Drought Initiative’.
The program builds on previous programs to help prepare agriculture-dependent communities across rural, regional and remote Australia for the impacts of drought and changing climate.
