One of the fastest growing sports worldwide, pickleball, was a hit at Rochester when a first session was held on Friday, May 9.
The session took place at the Rochester netball courts from 2pm, with about 20 taking part in the opening hits.
Coaching and equipment was provided at the session, made possible by funding from Campaspe Shire Council’s Flood Recovery Events Program.
Sessions are set to continue on Fridays.
