Division six retained top position on the ladder.
In the midweek pennant played on Tuesday, both division three and four hosted their respective Moama opponents at home.

Division four were met with similar fate in their match against Moama, losing 37-43 but winning one rink (John van den Bosch lost to M Meulenkamp 16-26 and Denise Gilmore def B Scott 21-17).
The club hosted the weekly 60 and over competition on Wednesday, attracting 30 teams (120 bowlers).
Success was limited for our local members, but a couple were involved in playing for the winning rinks.

Another good field played in round two of the Stableford Challenge on Saturday.
Watering has recommenced after the winter break, as the course was starting to dry out and offering plenty of run, and this was also reflected in the scores.
The daily winner was David Harris with a magnificent 44 points.
Runner-up was Shane Bywaters, who is enjoying the conditions and is in a purple patch, once again breaking his handicap by scoring a very solid 40 points.
Ball winners were Les Hedington 39, David Gebbie 38, Steve Bubb 37, and Ap Kuiper, president Lee Hicks, and Leigh Hartshorne, all with 36 Stableford points.

Friday night golf will start on October 23.
