All players contributed to a solid win, showcasing the depth of talent, sportsmanship and teamwork.
Led by talented co-captains, Ella Charlton and Kaydnce Sibraa, from the first whistle, the Redeyes demonstrated composure and confidence, stringing together strong passages of play that transitioned smoothly from defence to attack.
Their ability to adapt across positions was a standout feature, with players stepping out of their comfort zones and thriving in new roles.
The team’s defensive pressure, of Shelby Huckin and Alice Petersen, kept Katamatite from gaining momentum, while Blighty’s attackers capitalised on turnovers with swift passing and precise shooting.
The win not only advances them further in the finals but also reflects the growth and unity of this young team.
