The Eagles will be hoping to pick up their first win of the season, while the Magpies will be looking to extend their winning streak to three games.
The two sides met earlier this year, with the Magpies winning by a massive 139 points.
But Moama coach Sam Sheldon said he was expecting to come up against an improved Eagles side this weekend.
“I think they will be better than they were at the start of the year,” Sheldon said.
“They have played some footy together and a few blokes will have improved, no doubt.”
Sheldon said the rivalry between the two clubs would certainly add another element to the game.
“It has been a great rivalry for a long, long time,” he said.
“No doubt they will be wanting to get a piece of us and upset the apple cart, we’ll have to be at our best. Hopefully we can get a good win.”
The Eagles are yet to taste victory in 2022, but they have had some improved performances in recent weeks and would no doubt love to disrupt their rivals’ hopes of a top-four finish.
Elsewhere in the Murray League, Tongala will be hoping to snap a two-game losing streak when they travel to face off against Nathalia.
The Blues suffered a surprising 26-point loss to Congupna and were hammered by eight goals against Cobram the week before, defeats that have seen them drop to fourth spot on the ladder.
The Blues will be hoping to replicate their performance against the Purples from earlier this season that saw them hammer Nathalia by 110 points back in round three.
