Kennedy clears bars and expectations

Kennedy appeared in one final at the prestigious meet, leaping alongside 15 other girls in the 9-10 high jump.

Not too much was expected of the youngster as the lowest seed for the event.

And yet, Kennedy still cleared an impressive 1.15m, finishing equal-13th.
