Playing the Heathcote District Netball League B-grade final at Strauch Reserve, Huntly and White Hills traded blows throughout in a close decider.
With both sides tallying double digits in the first quarter, the Hawks managed to stay a step ahead to hold a one-goal lead at quarter time.
Huntly doubled up its first stanza tally in the second (11) while the Demons lagged slightly, the half-time deficit sitting at three goals.
White Hills romped back throughout the third period as the Hawks flew the steady path, pulling it back to a one-goal game with the game still all to play for a final turn.
Ten goals down the stretch weren’t enough to give White Hills the flag, as Huntly piled on 14 to be crowned champion in a 46-41 finish.
