In the reserves, Mt Pleasant surged into a grand final qualifier with a win over Huntly 10.15 (75) to 2.8 (20), while Lockington-Bamawm United kept its season alive 14.12 (96) to 4.3 (27) over Colbinabbin.
LBU was just as successful in the thirds, upsetting Mt Pleasant 14.6 (90) to 9.3 (57) in an elimination final.
The Cats move on to face Heathcote, which went down to White Hills.
