Teams came from across the region to compete in Rich River Croquet Club’s handicap doubles tournament.

Forty-four players braved bleak conditions to contest the event over Saturday and Sunday.

Deniliquin’s John and Mary James won their block and the final over the other block winners, Peter Binks (Queenscliff) and Marjorie McKenzie (Drysdale).
