Mooroopna came to Rochester Recreation Reserve for the contest and set up the win with a clinical first-quarter performance.
After the Tigers scored first, the Cats went on a rampage at both ends, rushing out to a 13-2 lead.
Rochester did what they could to slow the run, but Mooroopna would make another burst heading into the first break ahead 22-5.
The Tigers kept with the Cats for stretches early in the second, but Mooroopna would find more periods of dominance throughout to extend the advantage to 22 goals at the half.
The second half brought more of the same, with sections of even play punctuated by Mooroopna runs, as the quality Cats continued to grow the lead, eventually running away with the game 82-36.
Tia Webb was the focal point of the Rochester attack, scoring 30 of the 36 goals, while Ashley Lancaster, Layla Ratcliffe and Annecy Lyon shared the duties for Mooroopna.
The now 2-8 Rochester sits 10th on the league table, heading into another home game against Shepparton United (4-6) on Saturday.
Mooroopna improves to 9-1.
