The Heathcote District Football Netball League held its presentation night on Sunday, with plenty of Lockington-Bamawm United representation among the award winners.

Bart Phillips dominated the goal-kicking charts in the reserves, his 79 goals far ahead of his nearest competition (57) with Phillips also picking up the league best-and-fairest gong.

The best-and-fairest in the 15-and-under netball was the Cats’ Cadence Major, while Remee Christian finished runner-up in the voting for 17-and-under.

The club took home the Nell McTaggart Memorial Goal Throwing award for most goals, putting up 4968 scores for the season.

New signing in 2024 Jess Davidson made the netball team of the year, named at wing attack, while Tyler Phillips was selected at half-forward in the football team of the year.
