On Tuesday afternoon winners on 10 and 17 (27) were Ellen Buckley, Gwen Mills, and Joan Catlin, with the runners-up on 4 and 17 (21) were the team of Bev Barron, Helen Palmer, and Gloria McCluskey.

Corowa Civic Bowls Wednesday social Winners - Col Webb and Ann Sadowski
On Sunday morning Corowa Civic had a practice match against Chiltern on the Civic greens.
It was a great day with the sun being out most of the day.
After the games finished there was a BBQ lunch which was enjoyed by all. A big thank you to Ray and Shane doing the cooking, also to the ladies who provided the salads.

On Friday night Civic hosted the vote count and presentation evening of CDBHU, which was a great evening.
Thank you to all the Civic members who helped on the night.
26 players came on Wednesday for the social bowls afternoon.
The weather was rather overcast and cloudy.

Entries have closed for the Men’s and Ladies Singles, the draw will be released this week. The first round is next Sunday, October 5, or play another day beforehand.

The entry sheet will be put up on the noticeboard later this week for the Mixed Pairs which is set down for Sunday, November 2 for the first round.
On Wednesday afternoon Sue Dawson and Annette Norman played Pam Tobias and Maree Lewis in the Ladies Pairs. After a very tight game Maree and Pam came out winners by one shot.
