Over the past four years, the event has helped boost greenery and revive vegetation across Nanneella.
Organiser Dan Walker said the event is a chance to unite the community while giving back to the environment.
“It’s an event that's aimed at bringing local community people together from within the area and also outside areas, and connecting people,” he said.
“I'm a bit biased because I do work in land care part-time, but I really value just creating an opportunity for people to experience and connect with nature.
“It’s also a chance for people to come and just have fun, even if it's just half an hour with the kids, or they can stay for the whole day and enjoy everything.”
The event has seen steady growth, with last year's event gathering almost 50 volunteers, compared to the less than 20 volunteers it had in its first year.
While previous projects have been done on private land and farmlands, this year's volunteers will be adding more vegetation at the rear of the recreation reserve.
There will once again be music to keep everyone entertained and for the first time, there will also be an airbrush artist on site.
The artist will be doing live art installs, capturing the atmosphere and vibe of the day as volunteers work.
Learning from last year’s windy, cold conditions, a bonfire will be available to provide some extra warmth.

Despite the event’s success and growth, Mr Walker said this could be the last event due to a lack of funding.
“Carbon Positive Australia has funded the Regen the Plains events for the last 5 years,” he said.
“The funding is sort of running out this year so it essentially might be our last one.
“Although funding is finishing through Carbon Positive Australia, we appreciate their contribution to rural communities, and we're always looking for new funding and corporate opportunities to continue these events.”
This year's event will be held on Sunday, October 5 at the Nanneela Recreation Reserve from 1pm.
All are welcome to come along and plant some trees while enjoying some music and art.
