In addition to the 17 stunning timber boats on display, the event featured 10 immaculate classic cars, along with remote-control boat demonstrations and drone displays that drew plenty of interest.
A huge thank you goes to the many members of the Tocumwal Community Development Committee (TCDC) who contributed to the event's success — including Grant, Nerissa O’Donnell, and their children for putting on a fantastic breakfast, and special mention to Graham and Shylie Priestly for their outstanding efforts on the day.
The TCDC looks forward to hosting a similar event to mark the opening of the ski season in 2026, and anticipates an even greater number of vessels in attendance as the success of Timber on the Murray continues to grow.
One of the most unique and talked-about vessels was the cab-over Kenworth pontoon party boat, which drew plenty of attention from spectators.
A big thank you also goes to the Seacraft, Syndicate Boat Owners Club, as well as Tocumwal locals Ben and Jane, for their help in organising the classic car display.
Congratulations to the award winners - Outsider for Best V8 and Half Cut for Best 6-Cylinder.
