A Shepparton business has been recognised on a national scale.

Shepparton’s Barbeques Galore store has been named the retailer’s National Franchisee of the Year and been awarded a National Performance Excellence Award, something owners Jason and Michelle Bathman are thrilled about.
Jason said although he hoped the store would at least be nominated, it was a nice surprise to find out they’d met the judging criteria with flying colours.
“It’s not just about how much we sell,” he said.
“It’s about customer service, brand awareness, and the way we run our business as well.”
The couple attended a dinner in Sydney where they were presented their awards.
They said they couldn’t have won without their hard-working staff, and locals who support the business they’ve owned for 14 years.
The shop was relocated to a new site about two years ago, a decision that has clearly paid off.
