The Deniliquin RSL Club's $700,000 major alfresco redevelopment is on schedule, with completion expected in time for a November 11 ‘re-opening’.
RSL CEO Peter Duncan said work on the club is pleased with the transformation already taking shape.
“The extension is coming along really well,” Mr Duncan said.
“Our builder, Bernie Green, has been really good, and everything is looking to be on time."
The outdoor upgrade is part of the club's broader investment in its facilities and is expected to deliver a significantly improved space for patrons.
The upgrade includes a 7m outward wall extension, creating a larger, roomier outdoor gaming area built by local contractors.
New furniture, including chairs, bases and privacy screens will also be installed as part of the alfresco redevelopment.
“The outdoor area has gone from being one of the worst in the state to one of the best,” said Mr Duncan
