ROCHESTER'S up-and-coming juniors have helped the Tigerettes back into the Goulburn Valley League A grade winner's circles with a strong 13-goal victory over Tatura on Saturday.

After a three-straight losses to Seymour, Euroa and Echuca, Rochester desperately needed to break its dry-run at Tatura Park.
Debuting for the A grade side was Charlee Roulston who came on in the second quarter and quickly found her feet.
Roulston's strong drives and leads through the midcourt opened up the court and made feeding the goalers look easy, while a new goaling combination of Morgan Dingwall and Teal Hocking was exciting to watch with both moving the ball and shooting well.
Down the defensive end, Bridgette Holt and Maddy Eggleston were as strong as ever in the circle with great footwork, rebounding and intercepting.
Jasmine Condliffe was manning up well and got many tips on the ball, while Eliza Williams and Ellie Cuttriss provided plenty of drive and speed through the midcourt to help the Tigerettes secure their second win of the season.
Rochester will return to Moon Oval this weekend to host top-six side Mooroopna.

● COMING off a loss last week, Rochester's B graders were focused and determined to take the win against Tatura.
IN the end, they did so in strong fashion, with a 14-goal win on the road.
Kristy Roulston led the way with her grit and experience, controlling the midcourt and proving once again how dynamite she is opening up passages of great play.
Krystal Condor made her senior debut in B grade and slotted in seamlessly, while Jaime and Morgan Dingwall showed their love for the game, teaming up in goals to put on a real show for spectators. The sisters displayed some athletic moves as they worked beautifully together.
With scores even at quarter-time, the Tigerettes had to take it up a level which Lilian Ward noticeably displayed.
Ward was electric and firing down the court, assisting her team in building a 15-goal lead by three quarter time, while Linda Rasmussen was once again hard in defence, consistently putting hands to ball and unleashing numerous turnovers.
Overall it was a brilliant team effort from the Tigerettes, which resulted in a rewarding and much-needed win.

● ROCHESTER'S B reserve side celebrated its first win of the season, running over the top of Tatura by 24 goals.
The Tigerettes took control of the game from the first centre pass, while Lana Marsh and Ashlee Flanagan created a defensive wall to cause havoc for Tatura's attackers.
Macy McCaig ran the gauntlet in centre and Naomi Riordan was electric off the line as wing attack, with both players driving fast and hard onto the ring to feed into their goalers.
Stephanie Nixon and Ella McPhee worked well under the ring to convert the turnovers, until McPhee came off on injury time late in the second and didn’t return on court.

● EMBRACING a beautiful morning, the under 17 Tigerettes took on Tatura with a slightly different line-up.
But this did little to phase the young side, which ran out comfortable 37-goal winners to remain undefeated five rounds in.
Charlee Roulston took the court in goal attack, working hard in the ring with speed and agility and setting up for Leila Palmer in shooter.
The midcourt of Alannah Weeks, Krystal Conder and Alex Ingram were an unstoppable trio, and showed they were a step ahead of their Tatura opponents.
With defenders Tegan Williams and Poppy Palmer finding their groove together, their dominance began to rattle Tatura.
With Rochester sporting a four-goal lead at half time, young guns Ava Cottom and Charlotte Gould came into defence to give the side fresh legs.
And with young gun Teal Hocking hitting the court in goals her valuable and reliable leadership got the team on an unstoppable roll to close the match.

● ON a warm day at Tatura Park, Rochester's under 15s were eager to take the court under the guidance of coach Kate Foster.
In what was a tight game all day, the Tigerettes worked hard to come out came out 16-goal victors.
Kaitlyn Joyce had another great day out, providing great feeding into the goal circle and plenty of taps down the court.
Matisse Martin worked hard all game not only in the goal ring but provided plenty of drive down the court.
The switch saw Kaitlyn Joyce come into goal attack, with Joyce providing the team with great movement.
Payton Tiller moved into goal keeper to work brilliantly with Maddy Pearse, while Justice Powels came on with fresh legs to create space down the court with Charlize Weeks having a run in centre.
Lily Marsh fed the goalers beautifully and Rosy Marsh picked off some passes in the defensive end.
