The event, held from March 13 to 16 at Jack Eddy Oval, Moama attracted entrants from across Australia.
Rich River Rod and Custom Club president Daniel Arnold said the turnout exceeded expectations.
“We had close to 480 entries for this year's Rod Run, with 510 cars in attendance,” he said.
“We roughly knew there was going to be close to 1000 people coming to town, but our gates on Sunday showed that we had close to 2000 people walk through into the event.”
Mr Arnold described the event as extraordinary.
“It was unbelievable,” he said.
“The response the public gave us was phenomenal.
“I believe there were quite a few cars driving down High St and traffic flowed really well all day.”

The event drew participants from across the country.
“We had rods from all over Australia,” Mr Arnold said.
“We had them from Bundaberg in Queensland, from Tasmania, from WA.”
Mr Arnold praised the community spirit and organisation.
“The public and the entrants were all well behaved,” he said.
“It was just magical to see.
He acknowledged the competitive nature of the hot rod scene and said, “there is almost three events on every weekend you could go to”.
“To be honest, we just put on an event that we all like to participate in, and it is really well received within the hot rod community.”
The event will return in two years, running next in March 2028.
Mr Arnold thanked volunteers and sponsors.
“A massive shout-out to all of our members and people who helped out across the weekend,” he said.
“Without their contribution, it wouldn’t have gone as smoothly as what it did.
“And a big thank you to our sponsors as well.”
