Police investigate Echuca man’s death

Officers attended the scene. An Echuca man, 51, was taken to hospital with injuries.

The other man, a 52-year-old from Echuca, was not injured and was spoken to by police at the scene.

He was arrested the following day and charged with intentionally causing injury.

He has been bailed to Echuca Magistrates’ Court on August 19.

Sadly, the 51-year-old man died in hospital on May 29.

The exact circumstances surrounding the man’s death are yet to be determined, and investigations remain ongoing.

It is believed the parties involved were known to each other.
