There was a matinee in the morning, and an evening presentation.
Students and teachers from various schools in the region, and residents from the local MPS attended the matinee - as did your correspondent.
The show, directed by Ben Stonnill with assistance from Helen Dickie and choreography by Amy Foley, was a feast of colour and movement.
Beautiful costumes, a fantastic backdrop, and clever, mobile scenery, were a great setting for some energetic and engaging performances by the students of all ages and talents.
They backed up the wonderful main characters in this take on a tale from an Arabian Nights. Well done everyone!

Friends of the late Joy Sturrock are invited to attend a thanksgiving service on Saturday, November 22, at 2pm at St Andrew’s Uniting Church, Jerilderie to celebrate Joy’s life.
Following a short interment service at Jerilderie Cemetery, afternoon tea will be provided at St Andrew’s church hall.
Joy died in Ballarat earlier in the year, where she had gone to live after retirement to be close to her sister and her family.
It was Joy’s wish that her ashes be interred with her mother, Rita, in Jerilderie.
