Seven ladies have been working hard to create handmade and quality pieces for the community market to raise money for the Lockington Bush Nursing Centre.

The Lockington Sewing Club has spent about three months sewing and knitting different items, from fruit bags and pencil cases to knitted dolls and quilts.
The group is aiming to raise money to support the growth and refurbishment of the Lockington and District Bush Nursing Centre.
Sewing club member Lynn McGillivray said the group was incredibly grateful for the support and contributions from the community, especially the large amounts of wool and fabric regularly gifted to it.
The donation will help the nursing centre purchase new equipment as well as the renovation of the centre, which is expanding to create more space for community groups and activities.
The sewing club will be selling its goods at the next community town market on Thursday, December 18.
The group will be one of many stallholders at the town market selling a range of products.
The Lockington Bush Nursing Centre will also be drawing its raffle on the night, with major prizes to be won.
If you are looking for a last-minute Christmas gift, or want to support local organisations, come down to the community market from 6pm to 8pm at the Lockington Lions Park.
