THE school has a current enrolment of 144 students with a straight prep, two 1-2s, two 3-4s and two 5-6 classes. Every adult who visits our school comments on the great attitude and friendly feel that our staff and students have created. We take learning seriously but we have a lot of fun along the way.
Our whole school spelling program is back up and running and hearing the cheers and groans that erupt at assembly when the weekly spelling group winners are announced is an indication of the great effort and attitude that students are putting towards their spelling.
We were incredibly lucky to have a parent spend a huge amount of time designing and creating a ‘Ga Ga’ pit area for the children to use.
Ga Ga is a variant of dodgeball that is played in a circle, and combines dodging, striking, running, and jumping, with the objective of being the last person standing.
It has been extremely popular with the students as they spend their recess and lunch times running and dodging, unaware of how fit they are getting in the process.
