Fourteen year-old Charlie Rorato is making waves in the world of junior Australian Rules Football, earning a coveted spot in the NSW team for the upcoming National Championships in Moreton Bay this July.

A student at Finley High School and a key player for the Jerilderie Football Club under-17s, Charlie recently showcased his talent at the NSW All Schools 15 years and under Australian Football Championship, held in Lavington on June 2 and 3.
Playing in the full-back position, Charlie represented the Combined High Schools (CHS) team in a series of competitive matches against the Combined Independent Schools (CIS) and Combined Catholic Colleges (CCC) teams.
His strong skills stood out across the four games played during the tournament.
From the three competing school systems, a final squad of 25 boys was selected to represent NSW at the national level.
Charlie’s inclusion in this elite group is a testament to his dedication, skill, and passion for the game.
The National Championships will bring together the best young talent from across the country.
