Gallery | Preps celebrate major milestone in style

Walking sticks, grey wigs and a whole lot of glitter took over Campaspe classrooms this week as local Prep students celebrated a massive milestone: their first 100 days of school.

Throughout the week, students from three schools — Moama Anglican Grammar, Echuca Twin Rivers Primary, Australian Christian College Echuca, and Lockington Consolidated School — each found their own special way to mark the occasion.

On Monday, 3 August, Moama Anglican Grammar treated its youngest students to a special parade, while Twin Rivers devoted a full day to 100-themed arts and crafts activities.

On Thursday, July 30, Prep students from Australian Christian College got busy with creative classroom challenges and reflected on how far they’ve come since starting school.

At Lockington Consolidated School on Wednesday, July 22 Prep students donned their most colourful outfits and presented their 100-day projects they had crafted at home and joining in activities with their Year 6 buddies.

However, the students got to spend their 100th day of school, the costumes were nothing short of fantastic — complete with grey-haired wigs, walking sticks, bright colours, rainbows and plenty of sparkles.
