Creative Seeds host art lovers

More than 30 local artists, including 19 Rochester Secondary College students, contributed to this year's exhibition.

Creative Seeds curator Sharon Herne said the collection of 146 works were “a diverse range of wonderful, creative works in a variety of mediums”.

From Sunday, March 22, to Saturday, March 28, a range of workshops were held at the courthouse.

Participants were able to experiment with paint, weave their own macramé creations and use recycled bottles, teabags, textiles and jewellery to make art.

Visitors to the courthouse also had the chance to enjoy a Devonshire tea, wander through the community garden and explore its street library.
