Residents are invited to join the RBN for Drinks and Nibbles on Friday, July 3, at the Rochester Wine Tavern from 5pm. Its annual meeting will be held later on in the month on Thursday, July 23, from 6pm at the Wine Tavern. All are welcome, however RSVP is essential. The RBN is also calling on community members to complete a feedback survey.

Rochester Lions Club
The Rochester Lions Club recycling depot is continuing to grow. It is open every day except for Wednesday from 10am to 2pm.
Community Bank Elmore, Lockington and Rochester
The community bank officially reached $4 million in funds donated back into Rochester, Elmore and Lockington. In celebration, it has selected 40 recipients to receive $1000 which will be donated to a local charity of their choice.
Rochester Community House
Residents needing help with the vehicle registration rebate can get assistance from Peter Walsh’s office or the community house.
Computer classes are being planned in partnership with Rochester Secondary College and are expected to start next term. Feedback on the Youth Takeover program is also being collected, with survey forms available at the community house.
Anyone looking to make an appointment with Cr Bern Wright is encouraged to contact the community house to book in a time.
Rochester Christian Fellowship
The church’s new mural has been installed in front of the church, officially making them part of the Rochester Mural Trail. Community members and visited are invited to stop by and admire the mural.
Campaspe Shire Council
Residents were reminded that rates previously subsidised by council during the COVID-19 period are returning to normal levels, with some properties seeing increases from about $1200 back to about $2200.
