A bunch of good sports

The World Invitational Town Criers Tournament stopped by Rochester Sports Museum on Friday and it sure gave them something to 'cry’ about.

The prestigious museum, showcasing Rochester sporting memorabilia collector John Forbes’ prized possessions, opens its doors on Friday, October 25 to the public to hear the stories behind the items.

Olympic gold medallist Herb Elliott will officially open the museum on Sunday, October 27 along with Brownlow medallist Neil Roberts, Essendon premiership player John Birt and Hawthorn and Carlton great David Parkin.

More to come.
