That’s why the 21st annual Farm and Road Safety Expo will be held on Tuesday next week from 10am until 2.30pm at the Rochester Recreation Reserve.
Free entry and a sausage sizzle is available to everyone who attends, including more than 600 students, teachers, parents and carers from schools around the community and the region.

Held by the Rotary club of Rochester, member Heather Watson said proper care and safety measures were important in avoiding minor and major injuries and fatalities.
"We are all guilty of taking short cuts when tackling a task with that thought in the back of our mind that 'nothing will happen to me," she said.
"And often the end result will be fine but, there is always that exception when it does go wrong and a finger, limb, back, head injury and, sadly, a fatality occurs.
"What we also forget is that whatever the result of the incident, it is not only the person involved who is impacted but also family, friends and the wider community, not to mention the emergency services personnel who have to attend to the incident."
Rochester club members are urging for locals to attend this vital expo.
