Every year the raffles attract plenty of excitement, and it’s easy to see why. Each prize is loaded with a tempting mix of Easter favourites ,making them perfect for sharing with family, enjoying over the Easter break, or even gifting to someone special. With so many prizes up for grabs, there are plenty of chances for lucky winners to walk away with an armful of chocolate.
If you’ve been following the news — or simply browsing supermarket shelves lately — you’ll know the price of chocolate has skyrocketed. It’s something shoppers across the country have noticed. But that hasn’t stopped the Shepparton RSL from going all out for this year’s raffles. In fact, the club has gone above and beyond, purchasing close to $10,000 worth of chocolate to make sure this year’s Easter celebration is bigger and sweeter than ever.
Getting involved is easy. Tickets go on sale 90 minutes before each draw, giving everyone plenty of time to grab their entries and settle in for the fun. The raffles will be drawn Thursday nights at 7.30pm, Friday nights at 7.30pm, and Saturdays at 12.30pm, continuing each week right up to and including Easter Saturday.
The only catch? You must be present when the draw takes place to claim your prize, which means plenty of anticipation as the numbers are called and prizes start finding their lucky winners.
