Monday niners saw a very small but quality field.

Kevin McCormack took the honours, (he didn’t have Shane Wolfe to fight with) with a score of (41-9-32).

He also had the least putts.

There were no winners of the NTP’s or straightest drive.

Play will resume for the niners Monday 8 2018.

The Ladies field was small too.

It was rather warm and Christmas is coming.

Winner Naida Belot (61-211/2- 391/2) also NTP 5th, straightest drive 3rd

and least putts (16).

Jennifer Broom claimed runner up (76-22-54) and Ruth O’Connor held the winning raffle ticket.

See, there were others playing.

There is no golf tomorrow for the Ladies, they will resume play January 3rd 2018.Rochester

Alex McQuibban once again took home the spoils from Spencer Broom in last Wednesday’s nine hole competition.

McQuibban 21 stableford points was just enough to hold off the fast finishing Broom (20 pts).

Laurie Jackel won nearest the pin.

Pressure will be on the handicapper to penalise some of the regular winners as this week Santa has provided hams, turkey and Christmas puddings for the nine hole event, hit off from 9am.

President Ian wishes all members a safe and healthy festive season and looks forward to a prosperous New Year.

Thanks all the volunteers for their great contribution over the 2017 season and an early reminder subscriptions of $220 can be mailed to PO box 49 or to any committee person.
