The world’s best lawn bowlers will descend on cluBarham for the 2026 World Bowls Champion of Champions, from Monday, October 5 to Saturday, October 10.

The prestigious international event will see champion bowlers from around the globe compete across six days, while bringing a festival atmosphere to Barham with community events, live entertainment and international sporting action.
Spectator entry is free, giving the community and visitors the chance to witness some of the sport’s biggest names competing on cluBarham’s internationally recognised bowling greens.
The tournament opens on October 5 with player accreditation and practice, followed by a players’ parade from the Murray River Bridge to cluBarham at 3pm.
An opening ceremony featuring a traditional smoking ceremony and welcome speeches will follow.
That evening, the public can enjoy a community pro-am from 5pm, playing alongside elite bowlers before a traditional Aussie barbecue meet and greet, with Australia taking on the rest of the world from 7pm, and live music from Standard Procedure rounding out the night.

Competition runs from Tuesday, October 6 through Friday, October 9, with five daily match sessions between 9am and 7pm as players battle through sectional play for a finals berth.
The tournament culminates on October 10 with semi-finals from 10am, the women’s final from 4pm and the men’s final from 6.30pm.
CluBarham CEO Jason Wallace said the event was another milestone for the club and the region.
“We encourage everyone to come along throughout the week, support the players and experience international bowls at its very best,” he said.
