The girls came up against a tough Waaia side on Saturday and should be proud of the effort they put in across the court.
Emilee was outstanding through the midcourt, working tirelessly and coming away with some great intercepts that created opportunities for the team.
Layla moved beautifully through the midcourt and then really stepped up when moved into the ring, applying excellent pressure and making life difficult for her opponents.
Sabrina worked relentlessly in attack, continually presenting and driving hard to help move the ball into scoring positions, resulting in some great goals.
It was a true team effort, with every player stepping up, working hard, and contributing throughout the game.
The girls never stopped competing and showed plenty of determination against a strong opposition.

On Saturday, we took the court with a mixed group of girls and came out firing.
With some fantastic passages of play, we showcased some great netball and worked well together across the court.
The game was tightly contested, with both teams going goal for goal much of the match.
The girls showed great determination and fought hard to stay in the contest, applying pressure and creating plenty of opportunities.
Unfortunately, Waaia managed to gain the upper hand late in the game and pulled away, leaving us just short of the result we were chasing.

The girls turned up ready for a tough contest but lost the lead early against a determined Waaia Bombers side.
The Bombers made us work hard for every possession, and the game was a tight battle for much of the day.
Despite the pressure, the girls produced some elegant passages of play and used smart, strategic ball movement to work the ball into the ring.
Our midcourters were a standout, controlling the tempo of the game and driving play through the centre, which was reflected in the awards.
Their effort and work rate helped keep us in the contest and created plenty of opportunities across the court.
Unfortunately, we weren't able to claw our way back into the lead, with the margin extending in the final quarter.
While the result wasn't what we were hoping for, there was plenty to takeaway and lots to build on as we head into another week of training.

Taking on the top side was always going to be a tough challenge, but the girls approached the game with a great attitude and worked hard from start to finish.
They applied strong pressure throughout the court and produced some beautiful passages of play that showcased their teamwork and determination.
As the game progressed, we decided to focus on finishing the day on a positive note by opening up positions and giving players the opportunity to try something new.
Despite the significant changes, the girls maintained their competitive edge and continued to produce some tidy netball, adapting well to unfamiliar roles.
A highlight of the day was Liv scoring a goal, which brought plenty of excitement and smiles to the team.
While the result didn't go our way, we had a thoroughly enjoyable day and appreciated the opportunity to have a bit of fun while still playing good netball.
Thank you to Waaia for embracing the spirit of the game and helping make it such an enjoyable contest.

After a slow start, the girls struggled to find their feet against a well-drilled Bombers side and found themselves trailing by more than 15 goals.
To their credit, they never gave up.
After making a few adjustments, they began to work their way back into the contest, lifting their intensity and applying strong defensive pressure.
Their determination, teamwork, and ability to string together some tight passages of play saw them steadily close the margin and put real pressure on their opponents.
Falling just five goals short, the girls should be incredibly proud of their effort.
Their persistence, resilience, and willingness to keep fighting until the end were a real credit to them and impressive to watch.

What an incredible achievement, securing their first win of the season!
The girls came out firing with a blistering first quarter that established an early lead, and they showed great determination to maintain that advantage throughout the game.
Their defensive pressure was intense from start to finish, while they carried the same level of intensity into attack.
There were some fantastic passages of play where everything clicked, with the ball moving smoothly down the court and players working together brilliantly.
It has been wonderful to see the girls' hard work, persistence, and commitment paying off on the court, making this a thoroughly deserved and memorable win.

Against a strong opposition, the girls put together a fantastic team performance and should be proud of their efforts.
Isla and Edie were outstanding, contesting every ball and earning the awards for their hard work and determination throughout the game.
Sophie was relentless in defence, applying consistent pressure and keeping her hands over the ball at every opportunity.
Evelyn impressed in goals, converting some excellent shots under tight defensive pressure and showing great composure.
It was a terrific team effort.

A tough game for our younger Saints on Saturday.
Ava Ford led the charge with a brilliant display of tenacity and perseverance.
Rachel Weincke and Alexis Trewhella were strong in defence.
Elaine Thomas had a great day across the court, finding space and moving well.
Rose Manley was a consistent and calm presence, getting in front and supporting her teammates.
