President Karen Taylor said the committee was looking to run a number of programs through the club this year dependent upon interest levels.
“We’re putting it out there, we want to hear from people what their interest is this year, whether it be Saturday competition tennis or weekend twilight for seniors and juniors,” she said.
“We’re looking to run the Hot Shot program and a holiday program as well, though it’s also dependant on what restrictions look like.”
The Campaspe Tennis Association was expected to meet on Monday night (September 20), with discussion expected to focus heavily on Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews’ Sunday announcement surrounding the roadmap out of COVID.
If the hurdles became to great to get a competitive season up and running this season, Taylor said the club would utilise its two hard courts and lighting to run something locally.
“We are keen to get something up and running, even if there is not able to be a tennis season as such,” she said.
“We will still look to run something locally, evening sessions or Saturday afternoons.”
