Pearse brought home another medal from the 2025 World Para Swimming Championships, held in Singapore from September 21 to 27.
The home-grown star scored bronze in the 100m butterfly S10 on Thursday, also posting the Oceania record with a time of 56.56.
Pearse narrowly edged out fellow Australian Alex Saffy to make the podium, leading his countryman by 0.13 seconds.
Earlier in the day, Pearse was strong in his heat, qualifying first for the final swim.
He also had a strong performance in the earlier stages of the meet, finishing fourth overall in the 200m individual medley SM10.
After again leading all the way in his heat, Pearse faced up to strong competition in the final.
The opening butterfly leg saw Pearse in fourth, and he remained in that position through the backstroke, sitting a second behind the leader.
He made up ground in the breaststroke leg to turn in third, but was narrowly run down over the final 50m in freestyle.
Pearse adds this year’s bronze to his three silver and two bronze from the previous three world championships, as well as his bronze and silver Paralympic medals and Commonwealth Games gold.
