On Saturday, the Rhinos B-grade side hosted Nathalia on Memorial Park No.2 oval.
The Rhinos won the toss and elected to bat.
The home side were immediately on the back foot when Rhinos opener Rowan Frazer had a leg side full toss come off the top of the bat and was caught and bowled from the first ball of the match without scoring.
From there the Rhinos battled away against a strong Nathalia bowling attack with the pitch giving variable bounce.
Dilip Boppidi top scored with 12 as the only player to make double figures, with Darcy Finn also looking steady with 4 not out as the Rhinos were all out for 60 from 29.2 overs.
In reply the Rhinos bowled fairly well but 60 was not going to be enough.
Prem Muppidi got opener Ben Horrocks caught by Senaka Lakmal at square leg for 4.
However, Logan Campbell on 31 not out and Kai Lundberg on 19 not out saw Nathalia reach the target of 1/63 from 17 overs to win by nine wickets and put a dent in any finals hopes for the Rhinos B-grade side.
