Two of Colbinabbin’s best juniors will be back in Grasshoppers green.

Twins Cooper and Hugh Hamilton each put pen to paper this week, signing on with Colbo’s senior side for 2027.
The two were both previously at Rochester in the Goulburn Valley League, reaching the grand final with the Tigers in 2025.
Hugh had been with Rochester since he departed Colbinabbin ahead of the 2022 season, and has been a regular goal contributor, kicking 66 for the season in the 2025 grand final run.
Cooper was picked up by Greater Western Sydney from the Hoppers in the 2022 rookie draft and remained on the Giants list until 2024, playing eight games.
He has since spent time contracted with the Carlton and Southport VFL sides alongside his Rochester commitments.
The 22-year-olds will provide a boost to the Hoppers’ title aspirations after coach Linton Jacobs’ men reached the preliminary final in each of the past two seasons.
